Refund Policy
Stellar Coins are a digital virtual currency delivered instantly to your account. Because they are available for use immediately on purchase, refunds are limited to the specific circumstances described below.
Eligible for a Refund
- Coins not delivered: If your payment was processed but coins were not credited to your account, contact us within 7 days. We will deliver the coins or issue a full refund.
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, contact us within 48 hours with your order details.
- Unspent coins within 7 days: If you purchased coins and have not spent any of them, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date.
- Technical failure: If a technical error on our side caused an incorrect charge or prevented normal use, we will investigate and refund where appropriate.
Not Eligible for a Refund
- Coins that have already been spent on in-game items
- Partially spent packages — if any coins from a package have been used, the entire package cannot be refunded
- Purchases older than 7 days, unless a technical issue is identified
- Coins forfeited due to account termination resulting from a breach of our Terms of Service
How to Request a Refund
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation of the disputed transaction. We encourage you to contact us directly — we resolve legitimate issues promptly and without the formality of a chargeback process. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
EU and UK Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content purchases.
For Stellar Coin purchases, you are asked at the time of purchase to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived once the coins have been credited to your account. If you did not receive this confirmation, or if the coins were not actually delivered, your withdrawal right remains intact — contact us.
This waiver does not affect your rights where coins were not delivered, where there was a technical error, or where applicable consumer law provides rights that cannot be excluded.
Cancellation Policy
Small Universe does not currently offer recurring subscriptions. All coin purchases are one-time transactions with no automatic renewal.
If a subscription model is introduced in the future, the following will apply:
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access continues until then
- No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period
- No further charges will be made after the period in which you cancel
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. This policy does not affect rights you may have under the laws of the country where you are resident.
